On my most recent shooting excursion, I ventured farther south than before, visiting the towns of Fort Rock, Culver and Christmas Valley. I also stoped in Wagontire and Millican, two particularly remote locations which both now consist of abandoned gas stations and little else.

The landscape in this part of Oregon is more desert like, and appeared to be even less densely populated than the areas to its north. Christmas Valley appears to have an interesting history (See Article), and is an area I would like to explore more.
